More than 420 adults and children took part in the business run of the Perak Chinese Federation Manjung Branch.
(Manjung News on the 3rd) The Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Manjung Branch held the “PCCCI Manjung Biz Run 2024” this morning, attracting more than 420 runners. Get moving!
In his welcome speech, Wang Jianxin, Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Perak, Manjung Branch, said that in line with and in response to Tourism Perak’s 2024 tourism policy, the “2024 Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Perak Manjung Branch Business Run” was held at the Marina Island Pangkor this morning”in order to promote awareness of physical, mental, and spiritual health that the community pays attention to, especially having a strong body.
He said that all members of the Manjung Branch of the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry are active in business activities. At the same time, they also hope to promote exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle by organising community activities that are beneficial to the body and mind.
When delivering the opening speech, Datuk Ng Yuk Yan, Acting President of the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Manjung Branch for hosting the business run for the first time, successfully attracting more than 420 runners and creating a lively scene.
“I hope that more similar activities can be held in the future to promote a good social atmosphere and create a more suitable business environment.”
Chen Zhansheng, chairman of the working committee, revealed that the commercial run was divided into 5 kilometres and 10 kilometres, respectively, attracting 243 and 178 runners of all ages and races. The oldest was 79 years old, and the youngest was only 8 years old.
“The journey starts from the starting point of Marina Island, goes around the island to Teluk Batik Beach, and then returns to the end of Marina Island.”

On the other hand, Pangkor State Assemblyman Noor Haslinda, Datuk Ma Qiuming, Datuk Ng Yu Yan, Wang Jianxin, Tan Zhansheng Marina Resort Island Executive Director Chen Meirui, and local leaders also jointly presented eight awards to the winners of each category.
