Located on Marina Island Pangkor, along the scenic Strait of Malacca, MI Pangkor Marina has grown from a purpose-built marina into a welcoming home port for cruising yachts, sailing enthusiasts, and recreational boat owners exploring Southeast Asia.

Since its establishment in 2009, the marina has earned the confidence of the international sailing community by providing reliable berthing, quality marine services, and a strategic stopover for vessels travelling between Singapore, Langkawi, Phuket, Indonesia, and beyond.

Built by Marina Island Group Since 2009

The marina was developed by the Marina Island Group in 2009 as part of its vision to establish Marina Island Pangkor as Malaysia’s premier waterfront destination. Strategically located along the Strait of Malacca, the marina has welcomed sailors and boat owners from around the world for more than a decade, offering safe berthing, reliable marine services, and convenient access to Pangkor Island and the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

As Marina Island Pangkor continues to grow as an integrated waterfront destination, the Marina Island Group made the strategic decision in 2026 to directly manage and operate its own marina through Goldhill Optimum Sdn Bhd, establishing MI Pangkor Marina.

Today, MI Pangkor Marina builds on this proud legacy with a renewed commitment to world-class marina management, exceptional customer service, and continuous investment in facilities, safety, and the overall boating experience.
