The Perak Multisport Festival @ Marina Island has concluded, leaving behind indelible memories. This thrilling sporting extravaganza, featuring swimming, cycling, and running, has firmly established itself as a highly anticipated annual highlight. Witnessing over 800 triathletes compete with boundless enthusiasm and passion was a truly exhilarating experience.
Participants displayed unwavering determination in two key races: the Duathlon and the Triathlon. In the Duathlon, athletes tackled the Olympic distance, which began with a 10km run, followed by a 40km cycling leg, and concluded with a 5km run. Meanwhile, the sprint distance featured a 5km run, 20km cycling, and a final 2.5km run. In the Triathlon, competitors took on the Olympic distance, comprising a 1.5km swim, a 40km bike ride, and a 10km run. The sprint distance included a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run.
Their extraordinary endurance shone through as they pushed themselves to the brink, crossed the finish line, and achieved phenomenal success.
