Fiesta Cahaya Marina 2022

1. Competition Objectives:
   – Fostering traditional culture among the local community.
   – Foster students’ personal creativity and encourage learning, observation and discussion together.
   – Strengthen the parent-child relationship.
2. Eligibility: Primary and secondary school students.
3. Competition categories:
    Group A: Grades 1 to 3
    Group B: Grades 4 to 6
    Group C: Form 1 to Form 3
    Group D: Form 4 to Form 6
4. Submission deadline: 10-9-2022
5. Competition date: 15-9-2022
6. Competition rules:
      6.1 Each participant must make a lantern at home (each student is only allowed to participate in one category of the lantern competition), and each lantern is to be submitted to the organisers before 5:00 pm on 15-9-2022. The organisers will showcase all the works on the day of the competition, and ONLY 10 selected lanterns will enter the competition.
      6.2 There is no limit to the size of the lantern, and the theme is “Environmental Protection”.
      6.3 All lanterns should be lit during the display (light candles or use batteries, organizers do not provide any equipment).
7. Selection criteria: Creativity 30%, Appearance 30%, Color 20%, Theme meaning 20%. The work must be the original work, and no forgery, plagiarism, or copying of the work of others.

If any impersonators are found, your eligibility will be revoked.
