The Dings and Marina Island Pangkor’s Family sure know how to party and were in full force to support and celebrate the glorious 70th Birthday event of our Founder, Dato’ Ding Poi Chung, last Saturday.

At a glittering party, more than 1,000 guests celebrated our dear Dato’ Ding’s 70th birthday with memorable live stage performances from family members, friends and church groups, speeches and more. Hosted at the Marina Island Convention Centre, the momentous event was vividly remembered as one the best event of the year!

Especially the creative elements that were presented at the event; A Christmas Car that was artistically crafted by the Creative Staff of Marina Island made the entrance of our Guests of Honour a spectacular one. Likewise, the line-up of amazing visual graphics, A Tribute Video and the Special Surprise Video Messages to Dato’ Ding by his family, relatives, friends and staff of Marina Island Pangkor have really made the night “extra-hyped” and heart-warming.

Not to mention the uniqueness of the boat-shaped VIP wooden tables that serves our Celebrated Man and his family members were indeed one of the most talked about creative-touch of the event, that night! Big thanks to Marina Island’s Creative Team, the Project Team and everyone involved in making these ambitious creations come true and the birthday event a success!
